Ideal floor plans for ideal living
Al Tribble and Gary Hattal live life their way at Ann’s Choice.
The second bedroom of Gary’s spacious Fairmont-style home awaits overnight guests, but it mainly showcases his collection of 480 autographed baseballs.
Gary doesn’t cook, so he doesn’t use his eat-in kitchen. Cooking is always optional at Ann’s Choice because residents have their choice of four on-campus restaurants for their evening meals.
Al and Justine Tribble do use their kitchen. Well, at least they use its table. On weekends, they get their meals to go from Banners Restaurant at Ann’s Choice and share cozy dinners for two.
The den/computer room of their Gilman-style home is Al’s quiet retreat. Their great room holds Justine’s piano.
The Tribbles and Gary each chose Ann’s Choice because of its excellent continuing care.
Both Al’s and Justine’s parents required such care, “so we recognized that what Erickson Living offers is a real value should we need it,” says Al.
For Gary, whose wife has Alzheimer’s, the need was immediate. She lives on campus in the continuing care neighborhood where Gary can visit her daily.
“I know my wife is well taken care of,” he says. “That’s taken a weight off my shoulders.”
