Moving tip from Mary Wolfe

Posted on Thursday, August 28, 2008

Mary Wolfe, personal moving consultant at Fox Run, in Novi, is a  valuable resource when it comes to providing tips to help you sell your house.

This month she shares information about preparing to move to your new home and getting acquainted with your new surroundings.

Settling into your new home

You can begin to mentally settle into your new home even before your actual move. Make a floor plan of your new home, and begin to visualize where your  furniture  will be and how you will live—this will prepare you to feel more organized and comfortable after your move.

Even with the best preparation, it is important to give yourself several months to get acquainted with your new environment and neighbors. Participating in group activities is a fun and easy way to meet interesting people and make connections in your new community!
